SEO Consultants Denver – Question: Can Anybody “give me some seo tips?”
SEO Consultants Denver – Question from last week:
Reader seems to request additional SEO tips and wants a response as to whether or not the field is a good one.
SEO Consultants Denver – Reply:
Got several language related questions this week, so I’ll throw this in.
Here is a general link for you – Early Stage SEO Tips
Also…judging from the original format of the question, some standard English language skill will be necessary to compete in the United States. It will be hugely easier to work in SEO with a full and street-level command of the language.
1) Validate your html page in w3c xhtml validator.
http://validator.w3.org/#validate_by_uri
2) remove unwanted / un used images from your project images folder.
3) Proper Title name for all each page (<title> tag in head tag)
4) Give alternate (alt) name for every image ( alt name should be related to that image) which you used in html page.
5) Remove junk code or unwanted code (if you have any)
6) Use Meta Tags in all your pages. See below links if you dont know about meta tags

To improve your site rankings, you need to focus on three things:
>keywords, keyword research
>content
>links
keyword research is the backbone of your organic SEO. if you choose and optimize for the wrong keywords, everything else suffers.
here are some good keyword research, suggestion and discovery tools I use:

as for content, keyword research will fuel your content. author narrowly-themed pages around your keywords.
Here’s a great article on content writing for SEO:

finally, links are super-important (both internal and external). links are votes for your website, and the site with the most votes win the "election" search results. you need to get relevant, authority websites to link to your site. best way to do that is by authoring great content. also, practice aggressive inline linking throughout your website, like Wikipedia does. the are the kings of internal linking and kings of the search results.
hope this helps you to understand what goes into good SEO and good rankings.
Good luck!
